Craft beers, costumes, dancing and animals at Brewfari

The wildest Halloween party in Indy returns to the Indianapolis Zoo!

Brewfari 2022 presented by Scarlet Lane Brewing Company kicks off the Halloween season with an adults-only evening of craft brews, animal encounters and spook-tacular fun on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 7-10pm.

With exclusive after-hours access, attendees can stroll down the Zoo’s main pathway to sample offerings from 20 top breweries and cideries from Central Indiana and beyond. The Zoo’s eateries will also be open late, serving a variety of sandwiches, snacks and other fall favorites for purchase.

Additionally, guests can enjoy a variety of Halloween-themed activities and get up close and interact with the species they’re supporting during special animal chats.

Costumes are encouraged – guests can show off their creativity and competitive spirit in a costume contest for a chance to win incredible prizes.

In the Ascension St. Vincent Dolphin Gallery, guests can gaze into the future and beyond during free psychic readings before dancing the night away under the Bicentennial Pavilion with music by DJ Lockstar.

This vibrant evening of fun and philanthropy, hosted by the Indy Zoo Council, also helps to fund the care of the Zoo’s nearly 1,400 animals and 47,000 plants as well as its global animal conservation initiatives. Founded in 2011, the Council is comprised of emerging community leaders who are dedicated to supporting the Zoo and its mission of protecting nature and inspiring people to care for our world. Since 2013, the Council’s signature fundraising events have raised more than $626,000 for the Zoo.
