Start in Pumpkin Town, a whimsical village set under a canopy of pumpkins in the Bicentennial Pavilion. See adorable cats, fancy rats, snakes and other not-so-scary Halloween animals. NEW in 2020, little ghouls and goblins can engage in mystifying science demonstrations led by Professor Pumpkin at Pumpkin School. Plus, the dance party is always going with Halloween hits from Patch Radio!
Farther into the Zoo, wind your way through the twisty-turny Mystery Maze and meet our friendly witch as she brews secret potions at one of our three NEW cauldrons. The Zoo’s rides also feature a wild twist, like the Spooktacular Train Ride and the Round-Go-Merry — the carousel that runs in reverse.
Children are encouraged to wear costumes and bring a reusable bag to gather goodies along the Trick-or-Treat Trail presented by WISH-TV. Costume masks for children under age 12 are allowed but require an additional face covering if there is an opening around the nose or mouth.
Journey to Russia along with Zookeeper Jill Barker, who recently traveled to the region's remote forests in search of Amur tigers.
