Know What to Expect for Your Next Visit

The Zoo is open at 100 percent capacity, including all buildings. Masks are not required at the Zoo, though we recommend that members and guests wear masks in our indoor areas, including restrooms.

Wednesday-Sunday, Oct. 6-31 • 2-7pm, until 9pm Friday-Saturday
ZooBoo presented by Central Indiana Honda Dealers

Come to the Zoo for super-duper Halloween activities, amazing animals and pumpkins galore! A beloved fall tradition for 40 years, ZooBoo is always a fun family experience for itty-bitty ghouls and goblins, as well as the bigger kids.

The Zoo opens daily at 9am, so come early to visit with your favorite furry friends, then stay late to enjoy activities from 2pm to close on event days. Extended hours on the most popular evenings give guests a chance to enjoy the haunting ambiance of the Zoo after dark, while by day, the colorful autumn foliage provides a perfect backdrop for all the festivities.

Cooler October temperatures also mean more active animals. Combine that with engaging, hands-free activities, spooktacular costumes and trick-or-treating for kids and adults, and you’ve got an unforgettable family tradition. Woo-hoo!

Best of all, ZooBoo is included FREE with your Zoo membership. No reservations required!

Alligators & Crocodiles: The Fight to Survive

Revered for their unmatched strength and respected for their tenacity, alligators and crocodiles are among the most impressive reptiles on the planet!

Come see these massive animals up close at our new exhibit, Alligators & Crocodiles: The Fight to Survive presented by Central Indiana Honda Dealers.

Included FREE with your Zoo membership, this outdoor habitat highlights two species — the American alligator and the Orinoco crocodile. But how will you tell them apart? The answer is right on the nose! Alligators have a broad, U-shaped snout while crocodiles have a narrow snout shaped like V.
