Thanks for a great 2025 ZooBoo. We’ll see you in 2026.
Indy’s favorite fall spooktacular is back and better than ever! ZooBoo brings magic and potions, trick-or-treating for kids and adults, fun twists on our rides and more for a ghoulishly good time. And with cooler temperatures, the animals are especially active. Costumes are encouraged! Kids 12 and under are permitted to wear masks or full face paint.
The Zoo membership program is proudly sponsored by AAA Hoosier Motor Club.
Join us October 31 for a half price admission Halloween Celebration Day presented by MDwise, Inc.
The Bicentennial Pavilion transforms into a magical night of Halloween fun—on the front stoop of Leeward Manor—the whimsical home of the Leeward Sisters, Terra, Wisp and Bubbles. These magical, silly-not-spooky sisters guide kids on an enchanted adventure, where their Aunt Clara Voyant uses her magic tree to reveal everyone’s “animal twin.”
Presented by Lark Ranch, this fan-favorite event lets you watch the Zoo’s elephants stomp, smash and snack on giant pumpkins, a true Halloween treat for the elephants and for guests!
Families can join a spirited potions class guided by Magnificent Mixie. Find her in front of Café on the Commons near the Forests entrance.
Make your stop along the ZooBoo Foodie Trail to find different bites at different sites.
While we have treats for the kids, ZooBoo also has the Adult Trick-or-Treat Trail presented by Zink Distributing Co. every Friday and Saturday from 5-8pm. Adults 21+ can enjoy free alcohol samples. Adult Trick-or-Treat Trail is weather dependent and while supplies last.
Two male kittens, Casper and Frankie, will be available for adoption. Stop by Pumpkin Town to meet our feline friends to see if you’re a match. Casper has a small white patch on his chest and is very social. Frankie is an observant curious kitten. Adoption application is coming soon! Kittens remain at the Zoo until the end of ZooBoo and then they are joined with their forever families.
