This brand new structure is the new home for a variety of Zoo activities, including private events, a new bird presentation and a concessions area. Conveniently located near the Zoo’s Entry Plaza, with restrooms and the gift shop nearby, the Bicentennial Pavilion is an ideal place to host an event.
Designed with beautiful, natural materials and featuring lush trees and plants throughout, this open-air space provides an indoor-outdoor experience that’s perfect from spring through fall.
The north side of the Bicentennial Pavilion is home to the all-new bird presentation, Magnificent Macaws presented by Central Indiana Honda Dealers. The south end hosts a variety of public events and activities, such as the Zoo’s summer concert series, as well as private events. The versatile space can easily be converted from one large area that’s great for big receptions into two small, separate spaces that simultaneously accommodate multiple private events like company picnics and parties.
Located in the heart of the Zoo, the Ascension St. Vincent Dolphin Gallery provides your guests with an insider’s view into the dolphin pool. Events include access to the world’s only underwater dolphin dome!
Seating:
This dramatic White River Gardens event space comes with a wall of windows overlooking the White River and downtown skyline. Air walls in the middle of the room offer great flexibility to use all or half of the space at a time. Evening events also receive exclusive access to the stately Grand Hallway, outdoor terrace and beautiful Schaefer Rotunda (some exclusions do apply).
Use all of half of this conference-style meeting room, located near the Zoo entrance inside the Polly H. Hix Institute for Research and Conservation. This space is excellent for smaller parties, meetings and banquets.
The Oceans building adds dramatic ambiance to your event with full access to mingle among galleries that include penguins, sea lions, cownose rays and seahorses. Plus, your guests can interact with rays and dog sharks in our touch pool until 9pm. Standing or seated receptions are available.
