Celebrating Member Appreciation Month
August is Member Appreciation Month and the Zoo is throwing a month-long celebration to thank members for their continued support. There are currently 36,867 membership households – all of which play an important role in helping the Zoo achieve its mission to protect nature and inspire people to care for the world.
Being an independent nonprofit organization, the Indianapolis Zoo relies on the support of members, donors, and all of the people in the community who continue to visit the Zoo year after year. With that support, the Zoo can continue to bring excellence in animal care and conservation. Thank you Members!
Zoo Member Perks for the Month of August:
- Sip and Savor Week: Aug. 9-15 | Visit the Zoo during this week and you will be automatically entered for a chance to win one of five $10 gift cards to the Café on the Commons. Plus, one winner will receive an exclusive refillable Zoo members-only cup.
- BOGO Ride Week: Aug. 16-22 | Buy one ride ticket, get one free (limit 10).
- Holiday Magic Week: Aug. 23-31 | Visit the Zoo during this week and you will be automatically entered for a chance to win four tickets to Breakfast with Santa, valued at $100.
- Grand Prize Bonus Drawing: Visit the Zoo at least three times during Member Appreciation Month and you will be automatically entered to win a behind-the-scenes elephant care adventure in honor of Zahara’s 20th birthday.
