Cruise the Western and Central Galápagos Islands

Encounter an abundance of wildlife and plant life in this volcanic region off the coast of Ecuador. Over 11 days you will have the opportunity for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking to see nature from all angles and how this delicate ecosystem works. This trip includes moderate to strenuous activities that can require long periods of walking on uneven ground.

  • Learn about the important conservation work at the Charles Darwin Research Station
  • Walk along coastal lagoons and petrified lava flows on a trail that leads to a panoramic vista of the Sierra Negra and Cerro Azul volcanoes on Isabela Island.
  • Climb a natural stone staircase to the clifftops of Genovesa Island, known for its abundance of birds, including Galápagos Doves, gulls, tropicbirds, frigatebirds, boobies, and several species of Darwin’s finches.
