Elephant Care Adventure
Experience a day in the life of an elephant at the Indianapolis Zoo!
Learn about what it takes to provide excellent care for African elephants!
In this program, participants will go behind the scenes and explore the elephant barn, learn about the herd, meet one of the elephants—and even help choose an item that enriches the elephant’s day in a special way.
All participants must be at least 6 years old, and children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a paid adult participant.
When:
- March 7 – May 21
- Saturdays & Sundays at 10:45am
- May 22 – June 30
- Fridays – Sunday at 10:45am
Cost:
- Zoo members: $68 per participant
- Nonmembers: $75 per participant (does not include Zoo admission)
