For over 20 years, White River State Park and its attractions celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by providing FREE admission. Parking at the Indianapolis Zoo will also be free. Zoo hours are 9am-4pm.

On this day, White River State Park and its attractions partners with Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana to raise funds to provide meals for Hoosiers facing hunger. Guests are encouraged to donate online at any attraction on MLK Day. 1 in 7 Hoosiers are facing hunger. For every $1 donated, Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana can provide up to 6 meals for neighbors in need across 21 counties. $20 can provide 120 meals!
