New Orleans and Thibodaux, La. • June 25-July 1 •

Pack your bags and let's go on a family adventure to New Orleans! The city and its surrounding area are a melting pot of culture, food, music and biodiversity. On this trip with the Indianapolis Zoo you'll skim over the water on an exhilarating airboat ride and visit the Bayou Sauvage National Wildlife Refuge, a diverse habitat near Lakes Pontchartrain and Borgne that is visited by more than 340 bird species a year. ​​You'll make a special trip to the Audubon Nature Institute, which houses a zoo, aquarium and insectarium, and step back in time in the French Quarter and Jean Lafitte National Historical Park. Then relax on the beach on Grand Isle, Louisiana's only inhabited barrier island, and hear firsthand from Nature Conservancy staff about the work they are doing to save the state's wildlife and habitats.

Kenya • June 14-23 • Trip Itinerary​ 

Set off on an adventure to breathtaking Kenya with the Indianapolis Zoo! Embark on a journey to see the slopes of Mt. Kenya and Kilimanjaro, Lake Nakuru National Park, the Serengeti and much more.

This trip is the opportunity of a lifetime to see chimpanzees in the 200-acre sanctuary begun by Lonrho East Africa, Kenya Wildlife Services and the Jane Goodall Institute.
