Thanks for making 2015 a huge success
Thanks to the than 500 emerging and aspiring leaders from across Central Indiana who came out to enjoy a formal evening of live music and dancing, fabulous food, fun and philanthropy at Zoolala 2015: An Arctic Affair. This sold-out event, hosted by the Indianapolis Zoo Associate Council, raised $43,000 to help fund animal care and programs at the Indianapolis Zoo.
At this year's event, held inside the White River Gardens Grand Hallway and Hulman Riverhouse, guests escaped to the Arctic region, which is home to Alaskan brown bears, harbor seals, polar bears and walruses — all featured animals at the Zoo! Party goers sampled amazing culinary creations from Centerplate, The Oceanaire Seafood Room and Colts Grille, and sipped delicious drinks provided by Southern Wine & Spirits and Sun King Brewing Co. During the spirited mixology competition, guests decided that Jessica Taylor of the JW Marriott and Jason Foust of The North End BBQ crafted the best cocktail.
Live entertainment was provided throughout the night by Vintage Blue and DJ Lockstar.
Zoolala provides the perfect opportunity for young community leaders ages 21 and older to network and engage each other in a fun social setting while also supporting the Zoo. In three years, the event has raised $115,000 to further the Zoo's mission and programs.
Thanks to the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown for being the official hotel of Zoolala 2015.
