Tricks, Treats, and animals…oh, my! ZooBoo is back for another year on select dates from September 25th-October 31st. ZooBoo offers spine tingling activities, ghoulish delights, trick-or-treating, and friendly characters. You’ve probably heard of Pumpkin Town on previous visits to ZooBoo, but have you heard of Pirates Bayou or Bat Alley? There are six neighborhoods to discover on your visit to ZooBoo! Check them out.
Embrace the beauty of the fall season by taking a stroll through the Pumpkin Town Gardens. As you enter the Zoo to begin your ZooBoo festivities, you’ll find extravagant flowers, life-sized animal topiaries, and of course, pumpkins. You might find some of our animal ambassador friends hanging out in the gardens.
Fly through Bat Alley and find some bat-themed photo ops. You’ll also encounter Myotis, a cousin to the Leeward Sisters, and her winged friends lingering around. Don’t be alarmed. These bats are not vampires.
The heart of ZooBoo…Pumpkin Town. Take a tour through Leeward Manor, ZooBoo’s new family-friendly walkthrough experience that allows guests to discover the story of the Leeward Sisters. Dance to some spooky music with our live DJ, meet some of the residents that live in Pumpkin Town, and grab some snacks and drinks that are made especially for ZooBoo!
Scarecrows have taken over Forests and have brought some unique photo opportunities inspired by the forest-dwelling animals. Can you find all of them?
Arrgh! A bayou pirate crew has shipwrecked at the Zoo and is looking for new mateys! Prove you’re the best in swashbuckling games picked by the pirates. Will you succeed or walk the plank?
It would not be Halloween without trick-or-treating. Collect all kinds of goodies through the eight different stations in the Plains exhibit (if you dare).
