Sept. 20 • noon-4pm
Join us this fall to celebrate the culture and traditions of Latin America through a variety of special afternoon activities fit for the whole family!
Hispanic Heritage Fiesta presented by Indiana Donor Network coincides with National Hispanic Heritage Month, which officially runs Sept. 15 through Oct. 15 each year to celebrate Latin culture during the independence period for the Latin American countries of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.
This event is a great enhance to a Zoo visit! Hispanic Heritage Fiesta includes extra festivities that celebrate this great culture with an animal scavenger hunt, a piñata every hour, great music, community partners, bright decorations and Latin-inspired food!
See rain on the radar? Don't worry! Inclement weather simply moves the festivities inside the Zoo's Party Pavilion.
Hispanic Heritage Fiesta is included with regular Zoo admission and free for Zoo members. Discount Zoo tickets for this day can be purchased in advance weekdays at La Voz de Indiana bilingual newspaper.
