Zoobilation 2014 presented by Indianapolis Power & Light Company

Save the date: Tickets go on sale Feb. 2, 2015

Thanks to everyone who helped make Zoobilation 2014 presented by Indianapolis Power & Light Company another record-breaking event! This year, 5,000 guests rocked their orange and helped us raise $1.98 million to support animal care and programs at the Indianapolis Zoo. For the sold-out event, we rolled out the Orange Carpet by ExactTarget Marketing Cloud and pulled out all the stops to introduce our great ape cousins in style! Guests also enjoyed unmatched entertainment brought to you by Bose McKinney & Evans LLP and indulgences from across the city all in one place, for one night, all for you!

Zoobilation is the largest black-tie fundraiser in Indiana and is held annually on the second Friday in June. This sold-out event features drinks and delicacies from 70 of Indiana's finest restaurants along with entertainment from some of the area's top musical acts!

Plus, a select group of party goers have the first opportunity to meet our new orangutan friends and get the party started early as part of the Premium VIP Experience presented by Scott A. Jones Foundation and ChaCha.  From 5:30 to 7pm, VIP guests will receive exclusive benefits including priority parking, an arrival gift, full access to the air-conditioned Oasis Lounge in the Dolphin Adventure Gallery, early access to restaurant booths and more! For last minute tips before you arrive, check out the Zoobilation Newsletter!

The money raised by Zoobilation helps the Indianapolis Zoo care for and feed the more than 2,000 animals and 16,000 plant specimens on the Zoo's grounds, as well as to support our internationally significant conservation and research efforts. Contributions also propel many diverse and far-reaching education efforts. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. For more info, please contact Liz Mok at lmok@indyzoo.com.

Zoobilation History

Zoobilation 2014 is an event 28 years in the making. The very first Zoobilation was held in 1986 at the home of Herb Simon, where just a few hundred lucky guests gathered to support the Indianapolis Zoo and celebrate its good work. In the past quarter-century, the event has ballooned in attendance and prominence. In 2013, more than 5,000 guests raised a record $1.6 million to help advance animal and environmental conservation efforts globally and locally. [close]
