The Zoo is open at 100 percent capacity, including all buildings. Masks are not required at the Zoo, though we recommend that members and guests wear masks in our indoor areas, including restrooms.
The Indianapolis Zoo is excited to announce we now have digital membership cards! Please follow the instructions below to download your digital membership card to your phone.
You will get the most from your membership by downloading the eMembership Card app to your smartphone.

What are digital membership cards?
Digital membership cards are more environmentally friendly. Digital membership cards cut down on paper and plastic waste, and it means you never have to worry about forgetting your membership card at home.
How do I use my digital membership card?
Your digital membership card is unique to your membership and displays your name, membership level, expiration date and a unique barcode. Simply show your digital membership card and photo ID to our staff at the parking booth and Zoo entrance to obtain your membership benefits.
I downloaded my card, but now I can’t find it. Where did it go?
Simply search in your app library for “eMembership Card.” You can also add your card to your Apple or Google Wallet after downloading.
There is an error on my membership card. How can I fix it?
Send us an email or call us at 317-630-2046 and we will help get it resolved.
I renewed or made changes to my membership, but my membership card hasn’t been updated. How do I fix this?
To get your new membership card, simply click “Find My Membership Cards” and download your new membership cards.
How does the additional named adult on my membership card get their digital card?
All adults named on the membership will be able to download a digital membership card following the same process. They will need your membership number to locate the membership card and will be required to show photo ID at check-in.
How do I get a printed copy of my membership card
We can still print your membership card. There will be a $5 processing and materials fee for the printed membership card. Call the membership office at 317-630-2046 to speak with a membership services coordinator.
Members only can visit the Zoo from 8-9am Saturdays, Sundays and all Federal holidays Memorial Day through Labor Day. Take advantage of the cooler temperatures and see the animals start their day.
