Must Tries of ZooBoo 2023

The spookiest time of the year is upon us and ZooBoo is finally here! On select dates from September 27^th-October 31^st, venture to the Indianapolis Zoo for a night of frightful activities, special characters, spooktacular entertainment and food that’s so good, it’s scary! From ‘Skelly Wings’ to ‘Boo-reos’, there’s plenty of things to sink your teeth into this year! Here is a list of eats and treats you must try at this year’s ZooBoo… if you dare!

• Terrifying TOTS!
  • Fried tater tots, burnt ends, Red Gold BBQ sauce, beer cheese and sriracha aioli. (GF) (New)
    
• Hocus Pocus Pulled Pork
  • Carolina slow-cooked pork, red coleslaw, Red Gold BBQ sauce and pickles on a bun. (New)
    
• Skelly Wings
  • Frenched chicken wings, fried and topped with sweet chili sauce.
    
• Chupacabra Churro
  • Classic deep-fried churros with colored sugar, vanilla cream and strawberry sauce. (New)
    
• Wailing Whoopie
  • Black Whoopie pie with buttercream filling and spooky sprinkles. (New)
    
• Boo-reos
  • Oreo’s dipped in white chocolate with eyes and sprinkles.
    

We can’t forget the petrifying potions and spooky spirits we have at ZooBoo! Returning this year are Aunty Guzzle’s Potions, choose between a fruit punch or sour apple potions. If you’re looking for a more chilling drink, then the skull yard cup is just for you! Assorted flavors of ICEE served in a skull shaped yard cup.

For ghouls 21-and-over, we have two new spooky spirits! Try the Scary Cherry Mule, a monstrous mixture of Hotel Tango Bourbon and Cherry Liqueur topped with mule mixer. Or try the Myotis Martini, a batty cocktail of Hotel Tango Vodka and Orangecello topped with Lemonade.

You can find all these sweet and savory treats at multiple food venues all throughout the Zoo!
