Date Night: A Guide to Brewfari 2023

It’s time to trick-or-treat yourself to a date night and ditch the kids because Brewfari presented by Scarlet Lane Brewing Company at the Indianapolis Zoo is back for another year! On October 7^th, come to the Zoo (if you dare) for a night of delicious samples from 22 top craft breweries, cideries and distilleries from Central Indiana and beyond.

That’s just the beginning! Guests will enjoy a night of exclusive after-hours access, thrilling entertainment, a seasonal menu and of course animals! Before you come dance the night away and enjoy all the other Halloween themed activities offered here are some tips and tricks to make the most out of your night at Brewfari!

Stay hydrated!
- While you’re tasting the 22 different samples we have to offer, always make sure to take a break in between samples and drink plenty of water.
Assign a Designated Driver!
- Safety is our number one priority at the Zoo. If you plan on enjoying some samples as well as any of the specialty cocktails at Brewfari please make sure to have an assigned designated driver. If your designated driver will be at Brewfari, then they’ll receive a refillable zoo cup for non-alcoholic beverages.
Wear a costume!
- We strongly encourage that guests wear costumes to Brewfari. But be prepared to bring your creativity and your competitiveness, because at Brewfari we’ll be holding a costume contest! Top three winners will receive prizes that include a brewery tour, merchandise and more beer to take home.
Try something off the seasonal menu!
- Every ZooBoo, we put together a seasonal menu that consists of savory and sweet things to eat! This year’s menu will be available during Brewfari. Sink your teeth into a variety of ghoulish goodies like the Bigfoot burger, the chilling chili cheese taters and the Chupacabra churros. Check out the entertainment!
- Brewfari is not just about the sampling and the animals, it’s also about the entertainment. In the Bicentennial Pavilion, show off your dance moves all night with DJ Lockstar. Curious about what the future holds for you? Look no further, in the Dolphin Gallery there will be psychic readers on site to predict your future but beware it can be good or bad. If you enjoy a classic magic show, then make your way to Café on the Commons to watch a local magician couple put on an unforgettable act!
Visit the animals!
- During Brewfari, we have special animal chats lined up throughout the night.
