Zoolala Offers Halloween Fun for Adults Only
Indy Zoo Council’s annual fundraiser takes on a fresh fall flair

All-New Zoolala Offers Halloween Fun for Adults Only

Halloween isn’t just for the little ones anymore. For the first time, the Indianapolis Zoo will offer fall festivities during an adults-only evening at Zoolala 2018 presented by Scarlet Lane Brewing Co.

The signature fundraising event of the Indy Zoo Council since 2013, Zoolala has been totally reimagined into what is sure to become the wildest Halloween party in Indy. From 6:30-9pm on Oct. 24, guests are invited to enjoy brews, music, costumes and more, all surrounded by the Zoo’s animals and exhibits.

Twenty of Central Indiana’s top breweries and cideries will offer beverage samples throughout the evening. Attendees can also enjoy after-hours access to some of the most popular ZooBoo activities, including Pumpkin Bowling, the Round-Go-Merry (the Zoo’s carousel going backwards) and Pumpkin Town presented by Macys.

Costumes are encouraged, and the best-dressed guests can compete in a costume contest. Party goers can also enjoy psychic readings inside the Bicentennial Pavilion before dancing the night away to music by DJ Lockstar.

Additionally, VIP guests will receive early admission beginning at 5:30pm, exclusive access to the VIP area with snacks and special beers, and more.

This vibrant evening of fun and philanthropy, hosted by the Indy Zoo Council, also supports the Zoo’s animals and programs. Founded in 2011, the Council is comprised of emerging community leaders who are dedicated to supporting the Zoo and its mission of advancing animal conservation. To date, it has raised more than $410,000 through Zoolala to help fund the feeding and care of the Zoo’s 1,200 animals and 47,000 plants as well as its global animal conservation initiatives.

Tickets for Zoolala 2018 are on sale now for $50 per person for general admission and $70 for VIP. All guests must be 21 or older.
