All guests and members, including children under age 2, must obtain a timed-entry ticket in advance through our online reservation system. Tickets are free for members. Members must reserve a spot in advance for guests included in their memberships. We are unable to accommodate extra discount ticket purchases for members at this time. The timed ticket is for your entry. Once you’ve arrived, you’re free to enjoy the Zoo at your own pace.
Can’t come on the day you have reserved? No problem. To change your reservation, call 317-630-2001 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Guests who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 are not required to wear masks at the Zoo. This extends to indoor and outdoor areas.
Guests are urged to take their temperatures and perform health checks on their entire party before coming to the Zoo. If a guest exhibits any flu/cold-like symptoms or has a temperature of 100.4 or above, we request they remain at home.
Credit and debit cards are preferred; cash is also accepted, but only at certain locations.
The Zoo is totally compliant with the most up-to-date safety guidelines from the state and city.
The Zoo sits on 64 acres of outdoor space. We will follow the capacity and safety guidelines created by the state. We’ll also electronically monitor in real time the number of guests in spaces like White River Gardens, Oceans and the Simon Skjodt International Orangutan Center.
See more specific guidelines below to keep us all safe and healthy.
