Foodie Guide to ZooBoo 2022

The Halloween season is upon us and ZooBoo right around the corner! The fall favorite event is returning with new attractions, activities and menu.

From main entrees to sweets to beverages, we have plenty of options that will put you and your family into the Halloween Spirit!

Frightful Feasts (available at the Pavilion Café)

Veg = Vegetarian, GF = Gluten Free

(NEW) Headless Horseman Burger – 4oz grilled burger patty, sliced pastrami, secret sauce, Swiss cheese, sliced pickles, and fried shoestring onion rings on a fresh bun

(NEW) Diablo Chicken Sand-WITCH – Fried chicken patty topped with muenster cheese, bacon, pickles, creamy dill ranch and hot sauce aioli

Zombie Mac – Brains! Just kidding. Green mac & cheese topped with pulled pork, BBQ sauce, sour cream, and Cheeto “bugs”

Mini Zombie Mac (Veg) – Green mac & cheese with Cheeto bugs

Gravedigger Nachos (Veg, GF) – Colored corn chips, green queso blanco, red jalapenos, sour cream drizzle, and lime

Skelly Wings (GF) – Frenched chicken wings fried and tossed in sweet chili sauce

Freaky Flamin’ Hot Cheeto Corn (Veg) – Grilled corn with lime aioli, dipped in Flamin Hot Cheeto crumbles

Aunty Guzzle’s Potions (available at Café on the Commons) – Help Aunty Guzzle create tasty and bizarre Halloween concoctions with potions, witchcraft and “magical ingredients”

Skull Yard Cups (available at Pirate Shipwreck) – Assorted flavors of ICEE served in a skull shaped yard cup  *Adults can add a shot of Liquor

Adult Trick-or-Treat Trail presented by Zink Distributing – Free craft beer sampling

Cosmic Cosmo (available at Brew Hut, Nana’s Brew Hut) – Hotel Tango Bourbon, Orangecello, Apple Juice, Sour Mix and Orange bitters

Bad Apple or Poison Apple (available at Brew Hut, Nana’s Brew Hut) – Hotel Tango Orangecello, Vodka, Cranberry Juice, and Lime Juice

ZooBoo returns on Wednesday, Oct. 5 and runs every Wednesday-Sunday through Oct. 31. The Zoo opens daily at 9am; event activities run from 2-7pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and 2-9pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Hours are extended on Halloween from 9a-7pm.
