One of the Indianapolis Zoo’s coolest and longest-running traditions will return July 5 when Animals and All That Jazz begins its 31st year.
From Latin rhythms to big band sounds and beyond, this concert series will showcase a diverse lineup of Midwest jazz musicians playing from 5:30-8:30pm every Thursday night through Aug. 2. The stage will be set under the beautiful Bicentennial Pavilion, an open-air venue that will provide the perfect place for guests to chill out and enjoy the smooth sounds of live music, or take a turn around the dance floor presented by Indiana Members Investment Services.
Enhancing the music festival atmosphere inside the Zoo, each concert will feature a new food menu served at specialty stations, in addition to regular Zoo fare. Adults can also sample craft beers from a rotating list of local breweries. Tables and seating inside the Bicentennial Pavilion are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Additionally, animals and rides will be available until 7pm so that guests can enjoy a full day at the Zoo then stay late for the free concerts.
