ABout Tangs

TANGS ARE ALSO KNOWN AS SURGEON FISH BECAUSE OF THEIR DISTINCTIVE SPINES NEAR THE BASE OF THEIR TAIL.

These spines, also called scalpels, are often highlighted by bright coloring and used to communicate with their fellow tangs.
