VULTURINE GUINEAFOWL SPEND MOST OF THEIR TIME FORAGING FOR RODENTS, INSECTS, AND SMALL VEGETATION AMONGST THE BRUSH AND SHRUBS OF THE DRY AFRICAN SAVANNAH.
These birds are excellent runners and rarely fly, although they are known to find higher perches during nocturnal roosting.
