 How old do I have to be?
You must be six years old to participate. If you are under the age 14 years, you must be accompanied by an adult participant who purchases a separate Adventure Tour.
Is there a deadline for reservations?
Reservations should be made at least a week in advance. Of course, you can book your reservation as far in advance as you would like through mid-August.
What should I wear for my Adventure Tour?
We recommend comfortable clothing, especially shoes. These experiences involve walking throughout the Zoo grounds over a period of several hours. Please wear closed-toe shoes for the safety of your feet! Some of the behind-the-scenes areas you will be visiting require closed-toe shoes such as tennis shoes. “Crocs” are NOT considered protection enough in some behind the scenes areas.
Can I purchase this experience as a gift for someone?
Currently, this experience cannot be purchased with a gift voucher. However, if you want to give an Adventure Tour to someone special, you could provide them with the funds and allow them to book the Adventure online themselves.
