Project Elephant Kit

Use the kit on its own, or as a pre- or post- activity with a Zoo visit. Items found in the kit include food samples, elephant tail hair, a replica tooth, elephant curriculum, posters, books, videos, slides, elephant biographies, and ultrasound images.

Project Elephant Curriculum On-Line

To go along with the Project Elephant Kit, the Zoo created a multi-disciplinary, elephant focused, curriculum for elementary and secondary students. This curriculum is best when used with the kit but can be utilized on its own in your classroom. Activities range from observing elephant behavior to calculating the height of an elephant to reconstructing an elephant "skeleton." The curriculum is available at no charge.
