Guests enjoyed the crème de la crème of Indianapolis food and drink while mingling with other philanthropically minded young professionals. From 7:30pm-midnight, guests enjoyed an open bar with beer provided by Sun King Brewing Co., while sampling delicious foods from Zoo Executive Chef Joe Hsu and other area restaurants.
New in 2017, Zoolala took place inside the Dolphin Gallery, where guests could mingle in the nation's only underwater dolphin viewing dome. And they didn't forget their dancing shoes — with live music playing and drinks flowing all evening, dancing certainly was on the agenda!
Guests had the opportunity to start the party early with our penguins during the VIP experience from 6:30-8pm. A limited number of guests had exclusive access to the Oceans building and found themselves surrounded by the mysterious beauty of the world's oceans to pet sharks in the touch tank and watch sea lions frolic, all while supporting the Indianapolis Zoo!
Zoolala attire is formal. All guests must be 21 or older and tickets are non-refundable. For 2017, general admission tickets were $150 and $200 for VIP. Proceeds supported the Indianapolis Zoo's mission of advancing animal conservation locally and globally. In 2017, Zoolala raised over $70,000 for animal conservation.
